Monday Update

What I am reading ― As a geographer, I find Peter Turchi’s Maps of the Imagination: The Writer as Cartographer an absolute must read.  His use of process of exploration as a metaphor for the discovery process we, as writers, use is apt and dead on.  More than that it is a delightful read that will help you better understand what, how, and even why we create the way we do.  If you want to know more about it, it is available at Amazon.

Progress on the Novel ― Let’s see where we are…

Any Tomorrow: The Calling, the first eBook of the trilogy, is available from Amazon.com and from Smashwords.com for $2.99.  And I just found out that Any Tomorrow: The Calling has been accepted for the Smashwords Premium Catalog.

Any Tomorrow: The Curse, the second eBook of the trilogy, is fully edited and expected to be available in early June.  I hope to get it to Amazon.com and from Smashwords.com on around June 1st, so it should be out shortly after that.

Any Tomorrow: The Culling, the third eBook of the trilogy, is fully edited and expected to be available in July or early August.

The second and third books, although they each average around 10K words longer than the first, will still be listed for $2.99 each.

New to the Blog ― The Character Worksheet I added last week has been updated and lists 235 character references.  If you haven’t checked out the Character Worksheet, be sure to do so.  It’s a great tool for keeping track of who is who in your novel.

In addition to the Character Worksheet, I have added a Location Worksheet (or at least space for one).  Over the next week or so, I’ll be adding to the sheet and posting all the locations listed in the Any Tomorrow Trilogy.

Neither sheet will include spoilers.  Rather, I hope they will l make you want to find out more.  For that you have to buy my eBooks.

I’d love to hear what you think about my blog and my book.  If you have any comments about this or any of my posts, please feel free to leave a comment.  Thanks.
