Today we buried
A friend I never knew
I can’t tell you much about him
Except that his son loved him
And that is enough for me
For if a man dies
But still lives in the love
Of his family and friends
Then while he is lost to the world
He will forever remain
In the life of all who knew him
Or knew of him
Until the end of time
