By the posted schedule it should be available at Apple next week, and at Barnes and Noble, Sony, and Kobo around the week of June 10th.
So, roughly it takes about six weeks to work through the whole process with Smashwords. And that’s okay. Now I no longer have to worry about what was holding up the process. Now I have real experience to gauge the timeline of the process with. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Have you had a similar experience with Smashwords? How about other distributors? Share your experience or any other comments you might have by leaving a comment. Thanks!

My book Even Angels Need Miracles took about three or four weeks for premium catalog acceptance. It was distributed to Sony, Apple, Nook, a few others. The one that I want the most and is taking the longest is Amazon. Each time I check the distribution status I see the same message.
Smashwords and Amazon are working to complete technical integration.
Not sure what needs to be worked out or how long, but it’s frustrating that teh largest e-book distributor is not yet a challen for me.
You can wait for Smashwords and Amazon to see eye to eye or you can use kdp.amazon.com publishing without the ISBN that you used for Smashwords. I love Smashwords, and hope one day that Amazon loves Smashwords as well. If you decide to do the publishing for Kindle at Kindle, be sure to opt out from Amazon at your Smashwords dashboard.
